Here Butch is seen using a roller to smooth down the chop against the dome's surface. The chop also helped to insure that any voids in the Seaflex were filled in. Once the chop had hardened, I used my belt sander to knock down raised areas of Fiberglass. This process was repeated several times until the shape of the dome improved. It never became completely "smooth"; however, it got close enough.
